Even with this, the Hokies themselves aren't in all that much trouble.
Don't be surprised if Bryan Randall competes for the Heisman. He's overshadowed because of Vick's name. And Beamer has been pressured to put Vick on the field.
The fact is that Randall is a better QB than Vick is. If Vick hadn't gotten into trouble, Randall would be riding pine all season long.
Instead, Vick has done the university a favor. He's taken himself out and allowed the better QB to play the game.
Randall could be a top 10 pick in next year's draft. |

i think the younger vick will get through this and lead the hookies to a good season.
he will never be as good as his brother, and i dont think he will ever dominate the nfl, but i think he'l have a decent carer when its all said and done
