| heh, well i would think 5 world series appearances in 6 years would please an organization - i guess not. Yeah, they didnt really produce much in the World Series, but they were playing against the toughest 1-2 combo in the game. |

Mattingly is my favorite Yankee of all time. I remember growing up collecting his cards. Too bad he was a Yankee. 
Then I switched to Rico Brogna, then Todd Hundley, and now Mike Piazza.. (METS!  )
