The Yankees spent a fortune to get him. Hope he recovers soon because he will be an asset to the Yankees drive for back to back pennants.

That is a ouch, although as Patrick has already noted in his latest post that Granderson might be back this Friday, but, if not, we've got Bret Gardner still in center field while Granderson's out.
Gardner's stats are solid, and in that, I'm glad he's there for now...
