So do you guys think the Detroit Lions can actually win a game this season? And if so what game will that be? Who's the team they're going to beat, I mean?
They almost got it today, leading the Bucs with one minute to go in the game but then Keyshawn Johnson came up with an incredible catch over the Lions' cornerback in corner of the endzone for the game winner. That's the ballgame.
You know every time I make those weekly picks, I always look at the Detroit game and I think to myself, "Is this the week they're actually going to win a game?" and I'll get burned, hehe. |

To me, the Cowboys are the worse team in football. Any team desperate enough to start Ryan Leaf I think at least deserves consideration as one of the bottom few.
The Lions remind me a lot of the Chargers last year, arguably not the worse team in the league on paper, but just catching a lot of bad breaks. There is no way they will upset the Steelers, but the Bears, possibly.
Also: how bad does the defending NFC champs look? The Giants are defending there title as the worse team ever to play a super bowl. |

well, not quite the worst team.
don't forget my poor falcons 3-13 performance after going to the superbowl in 98.
I just can't see how any team can go 0-16 with the parody in the league today, nor can i see a team going 16-0. If the Lions are going to win a game, it has to be the Dallas game. However, the 'boys are playing much better these days than when they were starting Cryin Leaf. |

havent heard much from the falcons this year, theyve been quiet havent they? it is a tough fall after being in the super bowl a couple years ago, but these days its hard to field a competitive football team year after year after year. look at the cowboys and how dominate that they were in the early to mid 90s, and then look at them now, its impossible to stay competitive all the time.
the falcons will be back though, especially with michael vick under their wing. but i must say thank you for tim dwight |

| lol,yes i was sorry to see dwight go. atl is 6-6 and you never know which team is going to show up, the one that went to Lambeau and beat Green Bay or the one that got punked this past weekend by the saints. why on earth would reeves leave chandler in when we are down 28-10 with 8 minutes to play. get him on the sidelines to protect him for the rest of the season and get vick some reps! |

I love the Lions, they almost win games, they just can't finish or complete the comebacks...
