Yeah it is interesting. There are some opposing G.M.'s that would like to see M.J. fall flat on his face here with this pick because when he played he always beat their teams and cost some guys their jobs in management on other teams.
And talk about a year where if I was a general manager of a team and I got the #1 overall pick, I don't know if I would want it. Because there's no clear cut number one pick. Yeah I guess, it's a deep draft coming up here but you got 5 high school kids and a lot of underclassmen. There's a better chance than most years that you could really mess up and you'll take a lot of heat for it if you do. So this where we definitely see if M.J. is a good general manager or not.
I don't know anything about these high school kids, so if I was Michael Jordan I would go with a solid player you at least know something about and pick Shane Battier from Duke.
He's a great shooter, great defender. Can take it to the hole.
Some people aren't sure what position he should play in the N.B.A. but I look at that another way. It just means Battier can play a multitude of positions.

Well they picked Kwame Brown.
What do you guys think of that?
I don't know much about Brown actually. I know the University of Florida was kind of salivating to get him but he passed them up to go to the pros at the last minute.
