Are you making fun of Piazza, the greatest hitting catcher of our time?

I was just kidding... but really, my point was that John Rocker is 10x as worse as Roger Clemens. I mean... that was simply in the heat of the moment.

Mike Piazza is one of the greatest hitting catchers ever, for sure, I just wasn't feeling the whole Bold and The Beautiful thing.

Throwing bats and balls at people is bad. Plus Rocker is a moron, Clemens shouldn't be.

Wedge... are you telling me John Rocker and Roger Clemens are equal?

I think the fact that your a Mets fan is clouding the vision.

Roger Clemens is no genius... and he did a stupid thing. But... what Rocker said in sports illustrated in a totally different thing.

I mean... Clemens threw the bat at a soap opera star! Thats all.

i, personally, dont think either of them are bad people, they just both did something that they shouldn't have done, and regret.

from what ive heard of rocker's comments, they have been taken vastly out of context and dramatized by the media

in regards to clemens: he was simply caught up in the moment and reacted without thinking, everyone does this sometime in their lives

so unless rocker goes on t.v and says some more negative comments, or unless clemens decides to throw more splintered bats at the opposite team, i think that they shouldn't be classified as bad people and should be able to get on with their lives...i mean, both incidents were a while ago, and we havent heard about anything more concerning these two yet, have we?

Well... its tough for Rocker's comments to be taken out of context... he said what he said.

Clemens also hit Piazza in the head last year in an interleague game if I remember correctly.

Patrick is right, I am a Mets fan and that has affected my opinion of Clemens.

Yeah, he hit him in the head... thats baseball. Things happen.

You can't say Clemens hit him in the head intentionally. Because, he could have gotten out of the way or the ball could have moved. The ball doesn't go exactly where you throw it you know.
