Do you by any chance mean The Florida State Seminoles, because the gators are Florida University. The gators and noles are one of the most widely known rivalries in college sports. I may be wrong with your post but I do believe that your mistaken.

I have much respect for the noles and expecially for bowden... but the gators rule the state... Steve Spurrier is one of the greatest coaches to grace the ncaa and if the noles were in a better conf... say the SEC then their dominance would run a lil bit thinner. Now that the ACC is a lil tougher maybe we will see a lil less excellence comin from the red and yellow!

it is garnet and gold, not red and yellow. and we are talking about the current teams, not the previous teams. saying the gators are better than the noles because of spurrier is like saying britian is a better nation than the united states because of its dominance during the 1700s. that is all in the past. not to mention the noles have won like what? 5 or 6 out of the past 8 meetings.

The Seminoles do have a strong team this season, but so do the gators. Leak is one of the most talked about young QB's in the NCAA, and our defense is still goin to be strong in the back. We also have the 2002 #1 draft class... who r all no longer red shirted. I think that both gators and noles have a strong season and this yrs fsu/fu game will be one of the best in years.
