...Western & Eastern Conference do you think will make it to the playoffs?

This is mine for the Eastern:

1) Philadelphia [hoping ]
2) Charlotte [not sure about this one but the hornets can get pesky like Bees & maybe they will ]

and for the tough West:

1) Portland [cos if they don't make it, thats going to be pretty embarrasing for the money they spend on their players lol].
2) Phoenix [this one is my unsure vote]

Good question. I don't know. Hadn't really thought about that.

With Charlotte, if they get Jamal Mashburn (who's been out most of the year) back yeah I think they'll get a playoff spot.

I can't see last year's Eastern Conference Champions missing the playoffs so despite Larry Brown and Allen Iverson's little infighting (again), I think they'll be there.

I could see Portland missing the playoffs. They could care less although they are playing a little well lately.

With talent like Stephon Marbury, Penny Hardaway, Shawn Marion, and Tom Gugliotta, I can't see them not being in there.

iamrushman, Penny is also 1 of my favourite player. However do u remember back in Orlando where his coach [either D-Rivers or S-Skiles] wanted him to play the point guard spot & Penny kept insisting to be the Shooting guard & D-Armstrong play point? This was when Penny was in his kick a$$ days! He was wanted to be like M.J. in the 2 spot!

I think this was a big mistake. I see Penny as a better leader, a better point guard than Shooting. I mean even Pippen [also in his kick a$$ days] had trouble guarding Penny back then & Pippen didn't have as much problems guarding Kobe now. That's how good Penny was.

I know he had injury problems & isnt as young but he needs to get back into that spot. He belongs in the point guard position
