Although I am excited with the new players, especially these new international player, new transactions - trades etc I would like to post a different message - "Where are they now?"
...and although I tried my best to keep up with the NBA as much as I can I have missed a few pages so I was hoping ya'll can help me out. My first one is:
1) What the hell happened to Larry Johnson? The last thing I heard about him was he had a bad back injury...
and my second one:
2) Is Harold Miner still playing? The last time I saw him he was playing for the Miami Heats, but that was ages ago...
If you have ones as well - post them here "...."  _________________ ...:::[ I don't like bball, Ohh noo! - I love it, Yeaah!! >img src="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt=""> ]:::... |

Hey there again, Flipside.

Oh he retired recently. That bad back was just too much for him. I remember he refused to take some kind of anti-inflammatory for it because the rumor was Alonzo Mourning developed his kidney problems from taking too much anti-inflammatory medication over the years.

Miner, um, I remember I talked to another basketball fan over the Internet one time about him a while ago and we joked he was a grocery bag checker now or something.
"Baby Jordan".
Anyways, last I heard that he was something like a real estate agent now and has been out of the game for a while. |

...haha for real? man what a waste @ Harold Miner. That guy had a vertical leap of a superhuman. He actually had a pretty good inside game, taking it strong against much taller, stronger players. I wonder why he wasn't taken cared of, I mean you'd think a team of many coaching staff would help his all around game if he had the potentials & just needed guiding. Anyway I don't know the full story so I'll stop going on about him.
Grandmama retired! OMG how on earth could I have missed that lol@myself - thanks for the info Spike _________________ ...:::[ I don't like bball, Ohh noo! - I love it, Yeaah!! >img src="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt=""> ]:::... |

...earlier this year I bought a basketball newspaper & one of the headlines was Jason Williams charged for manslaughter, aparently shooting his limo driver in the chest after watching a Globe Trotters Game, the man died & the last thing written was, he could serve between 10 to 30 years in prison!
My question is, has anyone ever heard anything or know what happened after this? _________________ ...:::[ I don't like bball, Ohh noo! - I love it, Yeaah!! >img src="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt=""> ]:::... |

Oh that trial is still going on, Flipside.
Jayson's in big time trouble because he tampered with evidence by wiping his fingerprints off the shotgun and putting the limo driver's fingerprints on the gun and telling the people at the party to lie for him. |
