not many good music nowadays.. mainly just rap, all people listen to is rap... like nelly and chingy and other rappers with a y

I hear ya there. I'm a rock fan myself and I'm finding less and less good rock songs on the air. Most of them are too pop-ish anyway. Like Blink-182. They used to be great and now they're more pop than I would like.

I'm a pretty big Metallica fan. I like their song called One.
I also like the White Stripes. My favorite song of theirs is probably... Black Math or Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground. However, I'm a big fan of Hello Operator right now.
For my other favorite bands, I like Foo Fighters - Everlong and Weezer - Across the Sea.

I don't like any of those rappers, and I consider myself a huge rap fan and part of the hiphop culture... |

My favorite non-rap is Dave Matthews Band, followed by 311, Incubus, and Sublime.

Rap is what it used to be, it's just there people putting out the same quality music. However, it does exist.
BTW, on your list NWA and Snoop are the only two that truly show what rap used to be. KRS, Rakim, Kool G Rap, Slick Rick, Big Daddy Kane, and so on and so on are what made the golden age of rap... Then we had the originators, who I don't think I need to name.
But artists like GZA, Ghostface Killah, Kool G Rap, KRS, Nas, Tondeff are all still putting out the high caliber music that was being put out in late 80's and early 90s. |

My favorite song is between Chingy(don't know the song name, but y'all know what I'm thinking of) and Harder to Breathe by Maroon 5 (i think).
