physically lineman is the toughest because u are hit every play and are constantly getting beat up.

I think that there is quite a bit of truth to that. There are so many little nuances that lineman have to do to win that battle, along with battling double teams, cut blocks, etc. A lot of people don't really appreciate what O and D lineman go through to get their due. Especially being an O-lineman; there aren't any individual stats to peg your performances with.
On a side note, I think that pancakes should be an official stat for an O-lineman.

yeah pancakes should be an official stat..I am a lineman and its not that easy to put a huge d-lineman on their back when they r coming at u full force

there is nothing constant about american football that is why those guys are so huge they would get destroyed playing rugby theyd break down after 20 minutes. Anyhow after that rant id say quarterback is the toughest position high pressure massive guys trying to kill you. |

| The hardest position in sports is a catcher. One, you have to assist a pitcher in calling a game. Second, you have little visibility with all that gear. Lastly, who are bent on your knees for hours on end. |
