We have 2 baseball guys, a football guy, a golf guy and a basketball guy. I talked to Nate last night and we're ready to add a hockey guy. Since I don't really like/know hockey, I'd like to hear some suggestions!

Here is your chance to influence our... header design rotation... thingy.

I think it would be really cool if you could get a rookie picture of Wayne Gretzky in his oilers uniform. Other current players I would suggest are, Mats Sundin, Joe Sakic, Steve Yzerman, Mario Lemieux, Curtis Joesph, or Paul Kariya.

If you don't go with Gretzky I would suggest Mats Sundin, for the sole reason of him being a maple leaf, Hockey was born in Canada, the hockey capital of the world is toronto and the hockey hall of fame is here. So if you don't choose the great one pick someone from a city representing where it came from plus he ain't all cut up and stuff. Can you tell I am a Leafs fan

My vote goes with any hockey player, smiling, with a minimum of 2 teeth missing.

If not, Gretzky.

grafite,

That is a tough name to spell. I actually have his autograph though.

---

I won't be picking Gretsky because of his comments about Americans, however, when he was playing, he was my favorite player. But that was before his comments. I would also like to pick a current player at this time.

I am going to think about Kachuk (whatever), Mats Sundin, Joe Sakic, Steve Yzerman, Curtis Joesph and Paul Kariya.

of those: Kariya

I have no real reason why, just the name that stands out for me

Well as I stated earlier my pick would be Sundin, but may I ask why you arn't concidering Lemieux. It just seems like he would be an obvious choice, he is leading the league with points, has quite a long history in hockey, and was the captain of Canada's gold medel olympic team
