They have won their last 6 games without Air Canada, Antonio Davis has been stepping up including their younger players, however I personally think when it comes to playoff time [if they do make it] they will need someone of Vince Carters calibre to get to that next level! But that's just me though, I hope they can prove me wrong & beat the Lakers in the finals!!

No they don't.
The Raptors are one of the 2 hottest teams in the N.B.A. (the other being the Sacramento Kings) with 8 wins in a row right now. |

What? What's wrong with my statement?
The Raptors have been hot lately since Vince Carter announced he'd be done for the year. They routed the Atlanta Hawks tonight. |

That's right, for some reason the Raptors have been playing awesome since Vince Carter was placed in the injured list.
The team is playing like never before when Carter was around. Is that bad or good?... We don't know, but at the moment they are winning games w/o their superstar so thats the important thing

Yeah, Antonio Davis has really stepped it up for Toronto. He's carried them through their recent winning streak and this late season run at the playoffs.
I would say he's the M.V.P. of the team right now. |

How would you feel if you were Vince Carter though, I'm guessing mixed emotions of happiness because his team are winning and possible playoff contenders, but at the same time a little jealousy because he is not contributing on these wins being the superstar of the team. Must be hard for him huh...

Yeah I think it would be only natural if Vince felt bad because his team is really doing better without him right now. I mean before he announced he was gone for the year, let's face it Toronto was tanking it real bad. They were one of the most disappointing teams in the league before their last recent really long winning streak.
I would feel bad if I were in his shoes. Of course, I would never say anything to the press about it. I would just keep THAT to myself. |
