NFL.com says that is reported that Reeves wants to go with Vick as the starter. I have mixed feelings on this one. I think that Vick has all the tools but lacks focus. Chandler is a descent QB that could have shown him the ropes. Johnson is a veteran and has skill but lacks a brain. If Vick hit the books as hard as he said he did during the Offseason then it may payoff for the falcons. It will also help if Jamal Anderson is back (is he healed yet). That will take some of the presure off of the passing game. I think the loss of Tim Dwight actually hurt the Falcons more than they know. They dont really have a breakout reciever. If they did that would also help Vick. They also lost Terrance Mathis.

They need

A breakout WR
A more dominating Line
And to keep people Healthy and they could contend.

Also put the order they should go on the depth chart.

Vick
Johnson
Bonner

(cut kittner)

I think that Vick should start. And don't forget, in addition to getting Jamal Anderson back, didn't they sign Warrick Dunn? That will help as well.

Vick
Johnson
Kittner

I heard from an Atlanta Falcons broadcaster that Vick is much improved from last season. He is a more mature, more experienced QB, and should have a good season starting for the Falcons.

Well, Vick may have a new head coach last year, because the rumor is that Denny Green could replace Reeves after the season... also Marvin Lewis was in there.

I like Vick as the starter.

Yes they did lose Anderson. I always liked Dunn but his stats don't look so good.

Vick is the best thing that happend to Alt. since the 96 olympics. He will be better than McNabb. Vick is much faster and may have the strongest arm in the NFL. A year or 2 to work on consistancy and get some help he will be hard to stop.
