I don't really like to pass judgement on this sort of thing. If he thought it was time, that's fine for me.

I am with Patrick on this one. It is his own business when he decided to retire. If he stayed in, I am sure the league would have loved it. However, everyone has to move on eventually, and although he didn't win another championship, he ended his career on a high note, with quite a good season.

I voted yes for 2 reasons. Although I'm a Bears fan I don't want to see him get injured. And have problems walking or anything.. So its good for him 2nd its good for the team. At most he might have played 2 years. Aaron Rogers is a very good QB currently a back up . He could start for about 10 NFL teams if he were to leave. So its good for the Pack and for his Family that he has Retired. Nice Career good guy and a top 10 all time QB.

Is Rodgers ready to carry the team now? It will be interesting to see if they draft a QB this year.

I'm Betting they wont not unless its in the 4th round or later. I know Rogers has had some injuries but I dont think that will hold him back this season. Now its time for him to shine and he will do so.

brett favre retiring was probably a good decision for him but not really the right time for the packers with a first playoff birth since 5 years and all, i think the team had high hopes for going all the way next year
