He's 38, had a great season and is one of the top 7 QB's of all time, its a perfect way to go out, why risk injury or another bad season at this stage of his career, it was a great move to retire, now hopefully he will stay that way, you never know with him.

There were rumors that he was going to come back, but he quelled them pretty quickly. I think he will stay away.

I voted yes for 2 reasons. Although I'm a Bears fan I don't want to see him get injured. And have problems walking or anything.. So its good for him 2nd its good for the team. At most he might have played 2 years. Aaron Rogers is a very good QB currently a back up . He could start for about 10 NFL teams if he were to leave. So its good for the Pack and for his Family that he has Retired. Nice Career good guy and a top 10 all time QB.

top 10, in my book he's top 5
1. Bart Starr
2. roger staubach
3. Joe montana
4. Brett Farve
5. troy aikman

At least this year we know that there won't be an injury-related Madden cover!

I think Favre retired at the perfect time. He left just out of his prime. He just finished a great season. I dont think that the team has a shot at repeating last years success. He leaves as probably the best quarterback of all time, well some will argue but he is definetly in the running.
