I think skill wise Kobe has an edge to be named after that. Vince is more aggressive & probably more athletic than Kobe as well.
Have you ever noticed that everytime V-Carter wants to go inside uncontested he has to really suck it in & really use all his might & energy just to do so. When MJ was young, not only did he go inside the paint using his athleticism but using his gracefullness & skills.
Have you ever noticed the difference? If not, do so
Overall, I think Kobe & Carter combined would probably be good enough to be said the next Air Jordan! Well thats just what I think |

I would take Kobe over Vince Carter anyday.
Kobe's a much better defender and I remember that Christmas Day game last month between the Raptors and the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Vince wasn't a big factor in that game and the Knicks won. The Knicks double teamed Carter most of the game and what Carter would do whenever he got the ball was just throw it right back out to the point guard. He didn't try to split the double and try to score or try to split the double team and then pass to open guy for an easy, open shot. He just apathetically threw the ball back out. That doesn't help anybody, except the Knicks.
See Kobe's not like that. He won't settle for that. He'll try to make something happen. That's why I like Kobe better. Kobe's also the kind of defensive stopper that Vince Carter isn't right now. |

Haha no I didn't play college basketball Spike. After High School I stopped playing serious basketball. I still play competitive A grade basketball but no more than that. I am only 5"7 1/2, if I was at least 5"11 [like my man Iverson who declared he is 6 - which he isn't ] maybe I would have tried.
I did average 25-28 pts per game in high school but I shot a lot of 3's I averaged at least 5 to 6 three pointers per game, so I didn't have to score too much inside.
This is embarrasing talking about my basketball career because its not much but there is 1 thing I am proud of for 5'7 shorty I can still grab a proper 10 foot hoop with 2 hands jumping off 2 feet on a good day
