Can anyone tell me how the supposed best player in the world can't put the ball in the fairway? I realize that everyone has bad shots, but especially this year he just can't find the fairway! Are the pros not suppose to be able to adjust if something is not working? He has actully had problems missing the fairways since he turned pro, but it seems to be really bad this year. Do you think he needs to get Butch Harmon back as his coach?

Golf is a tough game. I think it's tougher than most folks realize.

As far as needing Butch Harmon, I don't know if he needs Butch Harmon per se. He might need or more correctly, benefit from a coach or something as all top talents need some direction once in a while, but Butch and him have been sparring in the media a bit (Butch the worse end of it, I think), and it really is kind of stupid to me... I mean, if it wasn't for Tiger Woods, would we be talking about Butch Harmon? Probably not, but we'd still be talking about Tiger Woods.

Tiger Woods will never be the dominant force he once was. He might be the best player in the world again sometime. But he's not right now. Right now I'd have to say Ernie Els is the best. He's the only guy to really compete at the top of the leaderboard in all of the majors. I get sick of people talking about Tiger in his slump. He'll get out of it eventually. May not be for another 2 years. But he'll never be the dominant player he once was.

What's all the negativity with Woods? Every palyer (especially in Golf) go through bad spells. A few years back, he was being written off. He bounced back and then they were saying he's the best ever.
Now he leads at this weeks tourney. He will bounce back but he can't win every tournament.

Tiger will be back! While I'm not a big fan of his, he is a great player and he will win again and soon. I don't think that he will win on the level that he once did, due to competition catching up with him as well as the technology that is making many a good player on Tour, better on any given day. Look for Tiger to win one or two majors next year and anything more than that is just gravy for the guy.

On a side note ...what Veejay is doing this year is absolutely sensational! The guy is in the zone.
