Haven't bought tickets for sporting events in ages. Want to take my kids to an NBA game. Pre-season is just fine, save some money. Just want them to see NBA up close.
I see that all the ticket sites have essentially the same inventory except E-bay and Craigslist. I think most of them are pulling from the stubhub.com database is my guess.
The first pre-season game just went on pre-sale (for the Sonics vs Houston Oct. 20). I'm finding tickets in the same row or one row apart can very quite a bit in price. For example the Center Court section rows 12-19 are going for an average of about $70. However theres one listing for row 17 for $46! I take it this is because most of these are individual sellers so they all set different prices.
My question is to you experience ticket buyers out there. For an NBA pre-season game that isn't on sale yet (Presale) that is a little over 3 weeks out. If I want fairly good seats, should I snap these $46 tickets up now, or will there be better deals to be had if I way until closer to the game? |
