Yeah I can't see them winnig the division but the playoffs can be a realistic goal with McFadden and Russell. |

There is no way Oakland will do it, the play in a division with the Chargers, Broncos, and Chiefs....the raiders have far more problems then they can fix in one offseason...i am hoping my Houston Texans can have a breakthrough year...we went 8-8 last season and we play in a division that has 3 playoff teams...its going to be hard playing in our division but if we stay healthy we should be pretty good....watch out for Andre Johnson, hes going to have a monster season _________________ *Texas Longhorns*Houston Texans*Houston Rockets*Cleveland Indians* |

My picks for the AFC West:
Chargers
Broncos
Chiefs
Raiders...the last two will be close. They could probably swap. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

What do you mean, if??
However, I don't think he makes that big of a difference. Yes, he will have an impact, but there are so many other areas that affect team performance that one defensive lineman not being present doesn't necessarily drop them to last in the division. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

The Minnesota Vikings seemed poised to get into the playoffs this year...with Adrian Peterson coming off a fantastic season an new additions such as Berrian and Allen, they may jus get to 10 wins or enough to get in for a wild card _________________ Dallas Stars-Dallas Cowboys-Texas Rangers-Texas Longhorns |

If the Vikings can get their hands on a QB that is battle tested, and can make good decisions with the football, I think their not just a wild card, they win their division with the number one or two seed, because they have two things a championship team (take the giants from last year) needs, a strong running game and an excellent Defense. With the maturation of Eli, and elimination of his mistakes, the giants won the super bowl, So can the Vikings. _________________ thousands of reasons to fail but not one excuse. |

A lot of people have the Vikes doing well this year though, so I don't know if I'd classify them as a Cinderella team.
The one team that always seems to have a lot of talent but never gets anywhere with it is the Arizona Cardinals. If they can improve on their 8-8 season last year in a rather weak NFC West, they might be able to make a playoff push. |

| Of course it's the Oakland Raiders. This year JaMarcus Russell will get his playing time and with the arrival of Darren McFadden anything can happen. They beat the Chiefs twice last year, the Broncos once, and even the Browns. They are going to at least take the division if they can overcome the diminishing San Diego Chargers. |
it could be the Raiders time. Did you see how bad they beat the 49ers in the last preseason game? I think it was 18-3 or something. j/k |
