this weekends games were cancelled and as far as i have read there are three things that could happen:
1. games cancelled 15 game schedule for everyone except my Chargers who had a bye week this week anyways
2. makeup the games at the end of the season shortening the playoffs by one week meaning only 1 WC from each division instead of 3 (no WC weekend)
3. somethin to do with juggling bye weeks to fit a 17 weeks of playin into 16 weeks (everyone would play 16 games, though i dont know what they would do with last weeks team with a bye, im not recalling who this team is atm)
well...i like option 3 the best but that one is least likely to happen. i hope they dont go to option 2 because that basically throws any chance the chargers had to make the playoffs out the window...im not sure if playin an extra game would benifit them or not?? |

Yeah I pretty much agree with you. I'd like to see option 3 the best, but option 1 would be my preferred pick if that couldn't happen.
I would personally take the shortened regular season instead of shortening the playoffs because in this day and age the playoffs are what it's all about in any sport. Nobody remembers the regular season unless you do well in the playoffs. |

| see, im lookin out for my chargers here, and if they finish 10-6 (it could happen) and the broncos finish 10-5, the broncos would beat out the chargers when they coulda very easily lost their final game...so i dunno, im leanin towards the shortened playoffs, the "shortened" playoffs i believe are the same layout as baseballs playoffs are, and that seems to work out OK |
