After having a decent season, he fell off the wagon again. No paycheck for you Theo! Come back one year!

That's too bad for him.
Now we know why I was glad after the Rangers let him go. _________________ -Wedge231 chris@c-wod.com

Yup, that was good timing for the Rangers. Theo's support group must not have been doing their job. But then again, it has to start with the individual. Easier said than done. I, myself, would have a hard time resisting beer and pizza.

Theo is nuts. He tried to spear Detroit's Kirk Maltby in the neck last night right in front of the ref. He was ejected from the game. They play again tomorrow night, which may be payback night on Theo.

He has always had "problems." I recall him beating up some mascots last year and also giving obscene gestures to Islander fans. _________________ -Wedge231 chris@c-wod.com

The NHLPA has an arrangement - my guess is Betty Ford- to deal with abusing alcohol and/or drugs by NHL players. The problem with the vast majority of these businesses is that they use the 12 steps to stop drinking and using drugs. Mostly they tell you do this do that don't do this don't do that. BUT what they don't do is deal with the problem the client has.
If Theo went to a place where they would treat him as a mature adult and work on his problem then perhaps we wouldn't be witnessing what we see today.
The reason I mention is because I am a volunteer director of a charity not for profit that helps people out in the workplace with an astounding success rate and unless I've missed something the NHL is a workplace.
I've seen Derek Sanderson remember him? It is sad to see talent like that go to waste..

Sometimes you can't treat people as adults if they are not smart enough to grow up in the first place.

well his carrier could so be over, considering he has just been put on waivers, I think it's about time he calls it quits _________________ I AM CANADIAN

Well here it is Sunday And I watched the Chicago/Boston game. Theo played and he played very well. He scored a goal and look quite good.
So rehab is not where he is right at this time. Consistent well probably not but today was a good day for him.. |
