As if the West needed to anymore competition, the Blazers have just made themselves a legitamite playoff team in one night. They will open the season with the following roster:
PG - Steve Francis
SG - Brandon Roy
SF - Travis Outlaw
PF - Lamarcus Aaldridge
C - Greg Oden
While Francis is considered overrated, he will thrive with this young talent around him. He will return to form being able to pass to so many different players with talent. This is something he didn't have in New York.
The only wild card on this roster is Travis Outlaw. I can see them replacing him with someone else before the season starts. Regardless, he is improving and will be the 4th or 5th option on this team. Not bad for the last option.
The Blazers will now compete for the 5th-6th playoff spots with the Nuggers, Lakers, and well the rest of the west. They will be a wild card team that noone really wants to play.
