They have 30 home runs + power at every position except 9th....Oh and and hopefully Freddi Gonzalez will finally give Cody Ross the every day job at CF. because he definitey a 35+ homerun talent if given at bats... check out his HR per ABa ratio last year.
the pitching outside of Olsen and Hendrickson looks a bit shaky, but top prospect Miller should mature and make better starts throughout the year.
Mitre and Anibal Sanchez will return to the rotation in Late July.
So remember I said it here first April 18, 2008...... bookmark this post and come back In November so that you will see I am right. |

good luck with that, I hope they do for your sake, you sound like a great fan, 2B,SS,3B sure look nice, but Hendrickson, Miller, and Olsen, dont quite equal, Glavin, Maddux and Smoltz _________________ The Nutmegger

I agree as far as what you say about the power bats.. but as far as the pitching, I am not so positive.. as for the comment about smoltz, glavine and maddux.. they are to old to last the season.. look at beckett, dice-k.. _________________ rookies, autographs, and other great memorabilia.

I was implying smoltz, glavine and maddux in the 90's when they were making their world series runs...........not now their dinosaurs for goodness sake ............ _________________ The Nutmegger

The Marlins tend to pop up out of nowhere and win a Series every 5 years or so. They may do it again. If they have that much pop in their lineup, it will definitely get them a ways. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

The major question mark is whether or not the pitching will last all season. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |
