They are looking good this season. Not only do they have a good offense but the defense is doing very well also.

Mavs vs. Celtics will be the finals this year.

Even though, I don't like the Mavericks, I have to admit, they are doing well.
They're the one team that still has to proven they can live up to expectations in the playoffs. Because the Lakers and Spurs already have titles and the Kings proved they can go far in the playoffs by taking the Lakers to Game 7 in the 3rd round last year.
That's why the Mavericks are playing with a chip on their shoulder and it's motivating them well. |

I'll have to agree, they definately seem to be planting theirselves as the team to beat early in the season. It will be interesting seeing how they match up with the Lakers with Shaq back, but as I've said before, I don't forsee a four-peat this year. Back on the topic of the Mavericks, Nowitzki has been playing great so far, and if he and the others keep it up, they should go a long way.

Yeah, you know who's also playing well this year is Shawn Bradley. He's no longer such a stiff.
The Mavericks line him in the back end of their 1-2-2 zone and some teams have a hard time scoring of off it. |

Personally, I think it will be the Kings vs. the Nets or the Pacers in the Finals.
