I was kind of surprised to see Hasselbeck and Eli Manning on the list. Neither of them really strike me as irreplaceble players. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

I thought it was a pretty good list even though
I don't think any offensive lineman should be
ahead of Matt Hasselback or Steven Jackson who
I agree should be on the list. I really can't see the
Seahawks or Rams having any kind of success without
those guys. Also, I may be a little biased, but I think Big
Ben is way better than Eli Manning and is more indispensable. |

After seeing what happened when Willie Roaf retired, I think that seeing an offensive lineman on that list is not too far out of place. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

I think DeMeco Ryans should have been on there. _________________ Houston Texans-Houston Astros-Texas Rangers-Houston Rockets-San Antonio Spurs-Texas Longhorns |

I don't think being more or less indispensable has to do with who is better or not. I think we would all agree that Roethlisberger is better than Eli, but the Steelers could survive better than the Giants if both their QBs went down. The Steelers are known better as a running team with a strong defense, not sure what you'd call the Giants at this point. |

| I would say though that if I had to pick one guy who the Giants absolutely couldn't do without, it'd be Plaxico Burress. I think losing him would hurt more than losing Manning. If you lose Burress, and then have only Amani Toomer and a bunch of #4 and #5 receivers to throw to, it won't matter who the quarterback is. |

I totally agree. Another guy who I'd say is more indispensable is Osi Umenyiora. The Giants pass rush is the no.1 reason they were able to win the Super Bowl. I could see the Giants still winning without Eli. They have a good running game and very good defense. |
