So what do you guys think are the biggest surprises of the N.F.L. season so far? How about Cincinnati being 2 and 0 after upsetting Baltimore today? Who would have thought that? And Elvis Grbac getting picked off 3 times. The off season upgrade from Trent Dilfer to Elvis Grbac sure didn't look like much today.

How about the Vikings? 0 and 2? Who would have thought that either? What's happened to their offense?

And how about Tennessee 0 and 2? One of those teams that people (I think myself included) picked to be in the Super Bowl now with a tough start to the season.

San Diego's 2 and 0 too but I don't think that that's much of a surprise. I thought the Chargers would be really good this year.

You named all the suprises!

Yeah... the Bengals and Vikings are the biggest for me.

Can't forget the Browns. 7 picks in the game. They could be a huge threat in the next season or two....hell even now

Yeah, Washington's in big time trouble.

I heard after San Diego blew them out in the 1st week of N.F.L. action, the minority owners of the Washington Redskins were already calling for Marty Schottenheimer to be fired but Daniel Snyder was the "voice of reason" and told them to be patient with Marty (Can you imagine that? Daniel Snyder as the "voice of reason").

Yeah and I thought Ty Detmer was a better Quarterback than that too.

Look, Ty Detmer's 7 picks is horrid, but let's remember that Detmer was in Browns camp all camp and only played that team in the second game. They obviously knew his passing game.

Add "Da Bears" as a surprise team of the year. Can you believe they lead the Central Division of the N.F.C.? Their Defense is playing great this season and they play hard for their Quarterback this year it looks like since they didn't like Cade McNown much.

I don't think they'll beat the Niners at Soldier Field this Sunday however. I hope I'm wrong though. I just think the Niners' big and tall receivers (Terrell Owens and J.J. Stokes) are too hard of a matchup for R.W. McQuarters and the other Bears' Cornerback (who's name escapes me now for some reason) who are both really short.
