Well tonight was the first regular season meeting between the Mets and Yankees since last year's World Series. Both teams have not been playing the same as they were last year, especially the Mets.
I watched some of this game and other than Piazza's baserunning mistake, the Mets didn't do so bad. I hope they can take at least one from the Yankees though. It's tough that Pettitte had to leave.

I'm used to that. If Zeile, Ventura, or Piazza every tries to go home on a play like that, they are out by a mile

| Is Pettitte badly hurt? With El Duque out as well, the starting rotation begins to look a bit weak if he's out for a while. |

Ahh, Mets lost again
There are probably more Yankee fans at Shea than there are Mets fans.
