The Dodgers?! They haven't made the playoffs in 8 years. They haven't won 95 games since 1985. I think that is a good point to make - money doesn't mean much if you don't perform. Might as well add the Mets into that etc. At least they've made it to the postseason (and a World Series) in that span.

The goal in sports is to win, but the goal within the goal - the goal that I would have if I ever become a sports owner - would be to win every single year and allow no one else to win ever. Is that realistic? No. But, building a powerhouse, a dynasty, a legend - that's the goal.

I consider Brady, Dillon (although he's new), Law, Viniteri (as much as a kicker can be) to be stars, as well.

Wow, I didn't know we(Sac Kings) were considered a powerhouse. Cool!

Personally, I'd like to see the Yankees broken up. But I'd like to see it done by baseball introducing a collective bargaining very similar to what football has now. I think the NFL has the best setup to give every team a chance.

whats the point of having powerhouses? when you have powerhouses, there is little chance for other teams to do anything.

The game is much more exciting when their is a team to beat. Look at how the NBA's T.V.'s ratings have done since the Bulls broke up in 1998 after Michael Jordan retired. Baseball is at its highest point in many years now mainly because of the Yankees and Red Sox. Even in football where there's a salary cap, there's still going to be 3 or 4 teams that you know will be in it even before the season starts. I think it's great for each sport.

I don't really want to see any of the teams broken up, but I don't think that the Yankees should be allowed to buy player after player so that they are nearly unbeatable. There should be a rule about spending.

Yea people have their favorite players go to the Yankees all the time when they might not like the Yankees I had Shefeild go to the Yankees from my Fav. Team the Braves so I was'nt to pleased.

Even though I like the Mets and Braves I still dont totally hate the Yankees because since im from and live in New York you gotta be proud and like the Yankees a little and I have gone to couple of their games.
