I actually saw this on the 2nd day it was out. I thought it was great! The only complaint I've heard so far from some friends was that it didn't follow the comic. I still think it was a good adaptation and well deserved the four star reviews.
Who else saw this?

| Haven't seen it yet, but I'm sure that new Scooby Doo movie will be a contender. Ahhahahah. |

I finally checked this one out. Right off the bat I was a bit frustrated with it because I sware that the score for Spiderman is virtually identical to that of Batman. How shocked was I to learn that they were both conducted by the same person? Not at all.
Moving passed my bitterness, however, this was an excellent movie. Though not really an avid comic book reader, I was glad to hear from avid readers that it was true to the storyline in the comics.
I am a fan of both Tobey and Kirsten and they are a match made in heaven. Tobey is the perfect hero, Kirsten is the perfect innocent female victim. I loved it, and I loved the stupidly romantic storyline.
TRUE FACT: During the kissing scene where Spidey is hanging upside down, Tobey complained of water running in his nose making it difficult to breathe, so while kissing he was continually gasping for air out of the side of his mouth
The Green Goblin was a great villain and his story line was very interesting.
ANOTHER BATMAN RIP-OFF: Spidey is forced to decide between saving his girl or other people from falling to their doom, much like Batman in Batman Forever where he must choose between his girl and Robin.
Anyways, this really was a good movie, and I was happy to learn that more are in the workings.
