I think that is wrong. The world of coaching tends to be this way; always looking for the next step. Its going to be harder for BC to bring in talented coaches if they know that they won't be appreciated looking for new jobs. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

I don't really understand BC's position on this. College coaches interview for NFL jobs all the time. If you want to argue that it's a bit unethical, you won't get any counter-argument from me. But nobody is breaking any rules as far as I know and Boston College has to look at this from a business standpoint.
BC needs to take a look in the mirror and realize who really has the upper hand here. Boston College is not the end of the world. If they fire him, he will get a decent job elsewhere. I think making that kind of threat is either a way of telling the coach they don't want him around anymore, and if they do want him back I think that this is a very counterproductive approach to take. |
