Perhaps I'm just a little biased here...but does anybody else feel Glen Sather raped Florida of Pavel Bure?
Man oh man....the Rangers paid more for Poti than they did for Bure.
Personally, I don't think they needed to make the Poti trade, but probably the Bure trade will help them at least on paper. I still feel the Rangers will NOT make the playoffs and go down in history as the team with the highest payroll not to make the playoffs....then again....that's been the Rangers for a couple of seasons now, right? Ha!

Well they lost tonight...
Hockey - the sport where money can't buy a championship (unless you're the Red Wings) 
Well I can wait another 40 years to see the Rangers win a cup..

Hey! Leave the Wings payroll alone. 
They don't have the cup yet and it does take 4 solid lines to win a game. We are just lucky to have Hall of Fame material on every one. Ah hahahh. But seriously, their coaches, not just Bowman, know how to get the rookies involved too. I saw rookies Kovlachuk and Healey in training camp here in Michigan last fall and I don't think they are as good as rookie Pavel Datsyuk of the Wings. And we have three or four other youngsters that have lots of ice time with the old farts. What a perfect plan. |

The Rangers seem to trade away all their picks so they have no good youngsters. Malhotra..
