I saw on ESPNNews that the Raiders want to get rid of Lane Kiffin. What is the deal? Did they expect a miracle this season? I am not sure what they are thinking, but if they fire Kiffin, I don't see it doing the franchise any good. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

I heard that they asked for his resignation, but he declined to give it to them. Weird, but I guess the next step is that they fire him. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

| Just Al Davis looking for someone other than himself to blame for the mess that has become the Oakland Raiders. It's their loss anyway, I'm sure he'll find better opportunities elsewhere. |

I hope so. At any rate, it keeps me from worrying too much about the Raiders in the division. _________________ www.chiefswarpath.com |

Kiffin did a decent job this season all things considered... I don't know enough about him to really endorse him, but Al Davis will never make it to another superbowl if his power trips continue. Given his past, I don't see anything changing. _________________ Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, Holy Cross Crusaders (My College), Boston Bruins |

Kiffen was never supposed to be a long term solution for the Raiders. When Al Davis heard the big coordinator names being thrown around he wanted to get a piece of it. I think Kiffen deserves another two seasons and I think Davis realized that too when he refused to resign. I think things will be alright Oakland. _________________ God created the earth in 6 days. | Raider fans better buckle up because Al Davis has gone from being irrational and somewhat comical to reaching some level of senility. He's too old and somebody in his family needs to recognize this and pull the reins of the Raider organization out of his death grip. |
