When I downloaded a particular software, all of my icons on my desktop became larger and the everything on the internet is larger as well. Can you explain to me how to make it how it was before I downloaded that software?

Right click your desktop, select 'Settings' tab, and drag the slider to change your screen area towards 'More'.

Yeah, something like that. For me its right click then "Properties" then "Settings" tab and then the resolution. (Win XP)

Justin is talking abouts screen resolution, which is what it very well is.
