Since November the quality of the officiating has slowly but surely gone downhill!! Some of the refs believe in the quota system like State Troopers OR The OPP!
The fans pay big dollars to go to a game to see skilled players play. Many owners pay some of these skilled players a lot of money which came from the fans in the first place. What happens,, well hooking, spearing, obstruction blah blah ad nauseum.
If an infraction is committed in the first minute of the game and is called, why isn't the same infraction called in the last minute of the game?
The spin that Gary Bettman and Andy Van Hellemond puts on all of this is an insult to hockey fans.
Recently they keyed in on diving!! Heck if a player dives let him drown. If he wants to make a fool out of himself so be it..
Can hardly wait for the playoffs to begin because the whistles the refs carry will be hidden where the sun doesn't shine!!
