Preseason Begins With the 49ers and Redskins.

Today at 10pm. (ET) the 49ers kick off there season against the Redskins.

I think that it is going to be a good look at the 49ers depth. They are not going to play there starters for more than one quarter.

Of course I think the 49ers are going to win...gonna be a good game though. It is also Spurriers debut. Sage Rosenfals is going to start for the skins I think. He is a descent QB I think. Actually I think given the right training he could start for some team. (Bengals) Well anyway tell me what you think of this game. Before or after doesnt matter to me.

I saw part of the game. The Redskins killed them 38 to 7. But it's just preseason so it doesn't matter or mean much.

But Sage Rosenfels (who?) looked good and so did Danny Wuerffel. I'm still not sold yet that Spurrier's offense can work in the N.F.L. I'll be convinced if they do this in a regular season game.

Michael Rumph got rump roasted tonight.

I'm not sold on Spurriers offense either. The blitz could destroy them. He sends to many people out.

The 49ers will be good if they are healthy. They do not have much depth other than at Linebacker.
