What does everyone think about the decision to hold the 2008 Olympics in China? I wanted it to be Toronto and this means for me to watch it now I either will have to stay up late or watch the taped events.

| I wish it was in Toronto too...I'd rather watch it live, now you'll know what happens before it's shown...but what can do? |

i wanted toronto too...
doesnt this now hurt US's chances of getting 2012? because toronto should be frontrunner for those games wouldnt they? |

i thought that i heard on the news that a US city (unsure of which one) would be in the running only if Toronto was not in the running in 2012...but Toronto was supposed to be the frontrunner in 2012 should Toronto try for the games
im prolly wrong but i thought thats what i heard  |

I heard it was going to be NYC or Dallas in those years.
