Was this game ugly at the start or what? 6 drives, 6 FG attempts, and a blocked FG. Yuck. Noone could put it in the endzone early.

The game stayed close, and for the most part boring, until the 3rd quater ended 16-10 Oakland. The Jets were still in it, but Garner, Gannon, and Rice put this game away scoring 22 points in the 4th quater to win it 38-24. Does anyone believe Rice is 39 years old?

The Jets overcomed a -4 TO difference last week, but couldnt overcome a -2 this week, as the Raiders are a very tough team to beat at home.

I believe he is 39. I really don't believe age is such a limitation anymore.

for him, maybe its not, but there arent many players out there that can play football at age 39 the same caliber they did at 29

Yeah those numbers he put up are pretty awesome. 9 catches for 183 yards and a touchdown.

I didn't see all of the game but it definitely looked like a young Rice. That one play where he caught the short slant and turned up the jets (sorry, no pun intended, hehe) down the middle for a huge gain was vintage Rice.

This game made me so mad.

Next year they will definitely have to make changes. I'll miss Testaverde if he gets let go..
