You think that there is any pressure as a QB being Joe Montana's son? I am happy for Sarkisian though, who really is great at developing QBs.

There may be some pressure, but if the boy inherited any of that coolness, then it'll be no sweat for him to handle.

I don't know if this Montana kid is really a top tier quarterback, or if he is just getting the attention because of his famous father. Personally, I don't think that lightning strikes twice in the same place.

My prediction is that he is an average quarterback who may or may not stick it out in Washington for his full college career. I know that Sarkisian is a good teacher, and I can understand Nick not wanting to go somewhere in which he'd constantly be under his father's shadow. But really, Washington? If this kid was truly the real deal, he'd of gone somewhere, oh, I don't know, where they at least win a few games.

He may not have the same expectations of himself that his father achieved. Sure, the name might help, but in the end, he won't play if he isn't any good.

You have to remember, too, the Joe wasn't always looked at as a great QB. I believe he was a 3rd stringer at Notre Dame at one time, wasn't he? So I'm not sure that those kinds of expectations are really there.
