something has to be done with these refs. the beginning of the season, after the replacement refs were in, the nfl refs looked good, letting the players play. but, i think this week just sums up how out of control the zebras have gotten.
sunday night game, i only watched the third quarter and most of the fourth and saw two rediculous taunting calls. both of which were after the play and should have been ruled as such, but one took away a first down which it shouldnt have done. taunting is not something these refs need to be calling especially since one was tossing the ball and the other was talking trash.
cleveland game. if you saw the clips of the end of this one you know what i mean. the next play had been over, the instant replay should not have counted. case closed. i understand the cleveland fans' response.
...this is just two horrible examples that occured just today, that i saw. i still havent watched sportscenter or seen any highlight shows. and im not even going to mention the tennessee MNF game which accounted for some of the worst officiating i have ever seen. these old men are out of control. bring back the replacement refs!! |

| My thoughts exactly. Reffing has been horrible the entire season. The NFl needs to get with the times, and hire full time refs. Paying these idiots the extra money doesnt seem to be worht it afterall. |

Yeah, I agree. I'm sick of seeing penalties play after play for no apparent reason...
