Well the N.B.A. approved the Hornets move to New Orleans today. That's interesting because you could potentially have a "lame duck" team in the N.B.A. Finals this year. Because that's my pick to make it to the N.B.A Finals from the Eastern Conference this season, the Hornets (or the Charlotte Hornets this year, heh).
I pick them because they're a great road team. And I think they have the most and deepest talent in the East. And I think they have the best frontline in the East too. |

I haven't been following the Charlotte situation that closely.
I heard the ownership of the team alienated the fan base by doing some really negative things. Like George Shinn (the co-owner of the team) was involved in a sex scandal. So I think it's partly the ownership's fault and partly the fans' fault.

Well, they were loyal before. Back, when the Hornets first opened up in Charlotte (1991 I think), they used get like 21,000 a game over there. |

It's very sad that a very good NBA team is going to move. Everybody understood why the Grizzlies left, they stunk and no Canadian is going to support and horrible basketball team.
The Hornets have explosive and exciting players like Mashburn and Davis, but the fans disapprove of the owner. All of Chicago practically dispises their owner, but they still have a great crowd. I feel sorry for the great fans they do have left. |
