|
|
Hey all
I am working on a new product proposal for a marketing class. It's about a new golf ball, with a microchip in it, which works with GPS technology in order to give info on speed, angle, velocity, location of ball (so as you don't loose it), and distance from the hole. The ball will be waterproof and more expensive than a normal ball.
Would you buy it? Do you consider this a necessary invention?
Thank you in advance for any feedback and comments |

Will it swim itself out of water hazards?
I really wouldn't need a use for such a ball. If I hit my ball OB far enough I don't even bother looking for it. Just drop another. I wish others would do the same. It would speed the game up more. |

its a nice idea for tiger woods but the average golfer like me has no need for that because i am just playing a friendly game and don't have a huge desire to do amazing. golf balls are expensive enough as well. If you were to have a sucessful campaign you would need a big golfer to endorse you product and it would then need to allowed on the PGA tour _________________ God created the earth in 6 days. | The thing that I could see happening is a couple of stooges getting out of their cart, taking out their ball locator, finding out the batteries are dead, walking back to the cart to get some new ones, and then deciding they'd rather drop a ball back from line of flight because they don't have a shot. Rule #1 on the course: Keep pace. Technically, you have 5 minutes to find your ball, but if ya can't find it with a minute and you're already shooting 30 over par with two other teams waiting behind you just drop another ball. |
