knowing the he (tiger woods) is only 47th in the pga tour in driving distance this year tiger is throwing out the nike driver he will now being trying the taylor made driver. First i thought he was under a contract with nike saying that he was suppose to use their equipment. Plus it must be nice to jsut throw out a NIKE driver everytime you get off to a bad start to a season of golf. I would recommend my golfsmith woods i got off ebay. Im happy with my distance and this year im in the fairways most of the time.

Tiger used to be able to outdrive everyone on tour but now companies are making biger and more reliable clubs. Tiger is upset with this because it brings other players up to his level. With this new taylor made driver tiger should play mush better and regain his dominance.

thats not at all why woods isnt 1st in driving distance this year. Don't you think that nike, the cadillac of sports equipment, would supply their biggest star witht the best equipment available? the reason he is not first in driving distance every year is because he isnt perfect. he only led the pga in driving distance 1 time. the other times he was way up there but not #1. So why is he #47 now?? I dont know. Maybe hes in a slump, but its not because his equipment sucks, thats for sure

When you say Cadillac, is that the same as saying someone is the best?

Here's the more important combined stat.

It doesn't matter what club you use, as long as you keep it in the fairway.

Tiger just changed back to Titleist for comfort. He wasn't comfortable with the Nike driver. He will lose distance with the Titleist, he's already said this but it will allow him to hit more fairways (for anyone who saw the buick tourney he played in last week)...he hit 13/14 and that one he didn't hit was 2 ft off the fairway into the second cut.
