That is great news.
However, knowing the Padres, they'll end up trading him away by his second year in his deal. Sad, but that's how they do business I'm afraid

yep...you are prolly right...but lets hope that it doesnt happen this time
but i still cant forget during tony's goodbye ceremonies he made a big deal that we had to keep klesko and nevin on the team, so if tony loved the guys, they must be big assets for the team on the field and off
...and hes not exactly the youngest guy in the world, but i dont think hes that old...drafted in '92 or '93 or somethin
and if the pads held off for a bit, we woulda lost him, there were bidders in other places im sure. like i said earlier, we were at risk of losing him.
