Now that the preseason Top 10 is out. Many polls say Florida, and others say Miami...who will come out on top.
I think Miami will take hom ethe national title, they have a great QB in Ken Dorsey and they have a lot of returning starters for this season.

our tougest matchups will be Northwestern, Purdue, Michigan and maybe Wisconsin ans UCLA (I don't know much about those two). Hopefully this will be a better year than the last and we can get into a good bowl game. I'd be VERY surprised if they won the Big 10.
So 8-3 would be a good record, and I'd be happy with that

I'll go with the Texas Longhorns to win the National Championship. I think they have the best receiving corps in the nation. And maybe Chris Simms (son of ex-New York Giants' Quarterback Phil Simms, who isn't a Hall of Fame Quarterback but he had a pretty good career. I think Phil Simms is one of the most underrated Quarterbacks that's played in the N.F.L.) will finally shine this year and show what's expected of him.
Although I do feel for Major Applewhite. He kind of reminds me of that one kid in the neighborhood that looks too small to play, that doesn't look like a Quarterback but will do anything to play. But in this situation with the University of Texas, all he's done is win. He even beat (upset) Nebraska at least once I remember. |
