Should Nash be the MVP again this year? He's playing awesome again this year.
He's so dangerous. His team is all healthy this year and playing great. _________________ You never have to do sports alone at www.mysportsconnections.com |

No. Twice in a row is enough. Plenty of other candidates such as Josh Howard and even Carlos Boozer. _________________ In this life, there are nothing but possibilities. |

^true.......but boozer is starting to not be as explosive as he was in the beginning of the season.........josh howard is great but i dunno if hes gonna make it to mvp with people like, kobe doing good in LA, dwight howard turning orlando around, yao ming is still considered for a mvp.............and who knows he might even get it if the rockets really do good when he comes back, tim duncan is starting to play really good all of sudden, but since yao is out right now...........the only other person i could see winning the trophy besides my man nash is gilbert arenas, gil is on fire, hes avg. 30 points, 6 assists, 4-5 rebounds and 2 steals........so hes my mvp right now
but like i said i still go for nash coz no one is more important to their team then he is..........he making another career year, FG=52%, 3PT=50%, FT=88%, 20 ppg, 11 apg, 3 rpb, 1 spg i know people are sick of seeing him win.............but cmon, numbers dont lie. _________________ NHL = Nashville Predators

I think If he continues hitting game winning shots and putting up 50 points a game in big wins Arenas will probably walk away with the MVP. What about a guy like Dwight Howard though? He has been putting up double doubles almost every game! I think 20 points and leading the league in rebounds while having one of the highest shooting percentages in the league deserves some considerations. _________________ http://moneymouth-sportstalk.blogspot.com/

Nash right now is a top contender for the trophy this year. im really starting to lean toward Gil, but Nash is still up there. Kobe is well deserving this season too. I think those are the three top players in the NBA this year. _________________ "If you are going to argue about statistics, then you BETTER have the statistics right."

| Based on personal numbers, he should be MVP. Based on team performance, he should be MVP. Based on leadership and character (on and off the court), he should be MVP. But because the sportwriters knows that the American public is tired of a foreign player getting all that attention, Steve Nash won't be MVP. And thats that. |

I don't think that makes too much of a difference. For one, most casual fans don't even know that Nash is not American. Second, he's from neighboring Canada. Some people wouldn't even classify him as a "foreigner." Third, he's a lot less "foreign" than some of the other candidates (i.e. Dirk Nowitzki). And lastly, what the American public feels has absolutely zero bearing on who the writers vote for. They are not politicians. They represent only themselves, not their readers.
Anyway, it's too early to pick an MVP at this point as we are only halfway through the season, but right now I'd put Nash at a close second behind Gilbert Arenas. The Wizards are battling for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Without him they might not be a playoff team. |

yea, at this point nash should be MVP again. phoenix has won 17 straight (not to mention the 15 game win streak earlier this season) thanks in big part to him. he's leading the league in assists and probably has the least turnovers of anyone who touches the ball as much as he does. if you watch him play, you don't have to look very hard to notice how much better he makes his teammates. kobe is a distant second and would be the leading candidate if not for nash. _________________ New Orleans Saints

| I hate to get political, but yeah three in a row, even if he's playing better this year, three in a row is just too much. Sometimes you just have to draw the line and let someone else have some glory. Regardless of the facts. I hate to say it but it's true. |
