Maybe it was early before to talk about postseason awards, but now since it's officially past the halfway point of the season, who do you guys think should be M.V.P.?
Michael Jordan's done a great job with Washington but I still got to go with Jason Kidd.
I mean the Nets have the best record in the Eastern Conference. Last year, they were nothing.
And part of that was getting healthy but I think the biggest part of that is Jason Kidd. He just makes everyone better. And he's so unselfish. Unlike, Starbury sometimes. Kidd loves to pass and he has the court vision to find anyone open. Plus he's a good rebounder and defender. Kidd is basically Magic Johnson without the outside shot right now. |

| I have to agree with you Spike. MJ has turned the Wizards around, but no one has taken the team on his shoulders like Kidd. |

I agree & its hard to agree to this topic if you are Jordanaire like me
MJ has given the Wizards stability & leadership but he hasn't risen to the occassion & has really taken over as much as Jason Kidd has!
Unless Jordan does something unbelievable in the rest of the games before the play-offs, I vote for Kidd. |

I would also like to add that I think Jason Kidd is the modern John Stockton version. Modern, because he is bigger, stonger & taller.
The way he handles the ball is amazing, he is smart & can push the ball up & down the court better than any other current point guard.
Not necessarily an awesome finisher but unstoppable passer just like Stockton was when he was young.

Tim Duncan was named 2002 N.B.A. Most Valuable Player yesterday (or the other day, I forgot) so congrats to him. I disagree with the pick.
I still think it should have been Jason Kidd. But Duncan's not a bad pick. |

I would also have to give the edge to Kidd, but Duncan is definately deserving. SA is a completely different team without him and that is what MVP boils down to (I think at least).
Duncan carries that team with points, assists and rebounds. Look at the first round of the playoffs against Seattle. Duncan misses one game and they get blown out of the water. He returns and they don't have a problem. Congrats to Tim, but Kidd did turn a bad team around. |
