I don't really see how Derek Fisher adds 5 wins for them. He's an upgrade over Kareem Rush, but he doesn't turn a 45-win team into a 50-win team. Considering his personal situation, we don't really know how much he's actually going to play for them anyway.

he'll play. the guy did just start for the jazz (who went to the WCF). i just think he'll bring the intangibles the team needs, as well as a consistent jump shot and solid D. that usually translates into more wins. ii don't recall kareem rush starting at or even being a point guard for the lakers. i also know crittenton's a player. he will take farmar's minutes this year.

even with derek fisher on there, it MIGHT give them 2-3 more wins then last season......but compared to the mavs, spurs, suns, rockets and jazz i just dont see them even getting out of the first round

they might make the 2nd round.....IF their lucky, but beyond that......i dont think so

heck i might even say that the nuggets are better then the lakers right now
