Who do you think are the MVP's from both leagues so far this season?

Here are my picks:

NL: Todd Helton

AL: Manny Ramirez

I like to look at how the team is doing that the player is on. It seems that Barry doesn't help his team, he IS the team.

I'd say Ramirez and Helton. For individual stats, A Rod and Bonds are good but their teams aren't...

AL:Manny Ramirez (maybe Ichiro later)
NL:Barry Bonds

The Giants arent doin that bad, they are right at .500, and with the NLWest as tight as it is, they could still easily run for the division

I'll go with A.L.: Ichiro and N.L.: Barry Bonds.

I reserve the right to change my picks later though.

AL - Manny Ramirez (because he's so damn good that nobody has hardly even noticed that Nomar has been missing)

NL - Albert Pujols (because he's so damn good that nobody has hardly even noticed that McGwire has been missing!)

By the way, has a rookie ever won NL MVP?

The title of the thread is "MVP so far." Sure the Giants could get 1st in the NL West, but they're not right now.

all im sayin is that everyone is disregarding bonds because the giants arent doing well, but they arent doing horrible (they are right around .500)

...without bonds they would be a lot worse than that, so bonds is more valuable to his team than many players are to their respective team; hence, he should be considered for most Valuable player...
