What do you think is the most interesting trades & would make a lot of impact in the next season & why?

I am interested what Vin Baker can do for the Celtics. I mean this is like a 2nd life, a 2nd chance for him to prove himself all over again in the NBA. If he stuffs this up I think he might be looking for a team that is looking for a washed up 'previous' all star veteran player like himself just to guide their young players.

Of course this is just one of them, I have plenty more what's everyones suggestion????

I think the best trade was done by the Clippers. They got one of the best point guards in the league (and IMHO a future All-Star) in Andre Miller. I'll give you one stat about Andre Miller that should tell you how good this young kid is. He led the league in assists on a team that couldn't score last year (Cleveland). That's hard to do. It's one thing to score a lot on a bad team but to be that proficient a playmaker is something else.

You don't like the Celtics right, Flipside? Because they eliminated the Sixers from the playoffs.

Anyways, I think this is just a horrible trade for the Boston Celtics. Sure they didn't give up much if anything for Baker. But the Celtics have to pay Baker like $55 million over the next 4 years so if Bakers doesn't become an all-star again or close to it, the Celtics could do downhill in a hurry with no way to get rid of Baker's contract.

Quick responce before I have dinner Andre Miller is definitely a steal. Having that much assist to a team who find it hard to score is like WOW! with a capital EVERYTHING!!!

Good decent point guard these days are so hard to find since most point guards wants to score and wants to be a shooting guard. Its actually getting ridiculous if you think of it. Besides the Kidd, A. Miller, Cassel etc.. Every point wants to shoot not pass lol!

You could have put the ten most "interesting" trades in the poll.

Whoa, dinner at like 2:38 a.m. (well that's the time where I live when you posted this)? Where do you live?

So do you think Andre Miller's addition will get the Clippers into the playoffs next year in the West?

You have a very good point there. Actually I kind of put Sam Cassell in that category too. He's another guy who has a reputation of wanting to shoot first and pass second from the point position.

I was kind of thinking that too.

...yes that's what quick responce does to you, you become careless. Cassel shoudn't be in that category 'my bad' there! I should have put someone else but never mind

I am from Australia but I was originally from the Philippine Islands where Basketball is our no#1 sport next to boxing . I've been following bball & most especially the NBA since the Bird-Magic days, even up to the Celtics domination years I think. I could recall back in Philly Islands my friends saying he'd rather be a Danny Ainge than a Michael Cooper, but I said to him "Defence is the Best Offence." Well I didn't say it that good cos I was only very young but something like that haha!

Back to present, Clippers in the PLAYOFFS! Hmmm I don't know man, but it has been done by many young teams in the past, so good luck to them though.

Spike any interesting trades for your Kings [or Golden State] that would maybe increase their chances of beating bigger teams like the Lakers?

Hehe, actually Danny Ainge used to be my favorite N.B.A. player back then because I didn't even like the Lakers back then.

For the Kings, nope. They just want to concentrate on re-signing Mike Bibby because they're way over the Salary Cap.

The Warriors might make a move though, to trade Danny Fortson for something worthwhile since Antawn Jamison will probably be moving back to the starting power forward spot and that most likely will move Fortson to the bench if he's still going to be on our roster.

I dont like MJ. He is a great player but he got away with to much. (that ought to make some people mad. but its just my opinion) I think Vin could do better in Boston but if he doesnt the contract will kill them. Miller is good but may not add anything if he doesnt continue his play.
